Does anyone row crop these? Assuming you had spacing and wheels for 22" rows, how hard would running in the row be? Do they steer like a 2 + 2? How hard is it to remove the loader? Seems like it would make a nice loader tractor, but would like to have the capability to run in 22" rows.Edited by Rockman 2/22/2014 09:48 (new-holland-tv-02.jpg) (new-holland-tv-03.jpg)Attachments---------------- new-holland-tv-02.jpg (58KB - 100 downloads) new-holland-tv-03.jpg (37KB - 122 downloads) |

| What do u want to do with it? Not much for pulling power as it is a hydro transmission. |

| Easy pulling jobs, mostly side dress with PT spreader, maybe small sprayer, not sure. It would replace my CIH 1896 (95 hp) which fits in the row now when we need it. Not too hip on putting a loader on that one though. |

South Western Ontario, Canada | The loader isn't the easiest to remove. 10 to 15 minutes or so. Can drive either way. They are NOT great tractors for tillage with the hydrostat. Have use one for spraying corn and it worked good for that. |

Alberta, Canada | I'd like to know what tires are on that second one, don't normally see much different than stock on bi-dis. If you can afford to get into a 6070, they have an 8speeed auto shift hydrostatic which while I have not driven one would think it much better for what you're doing than the 3speed in the tv140 and 145s, which are known to cause problems. Yes, the way they steer engine end first is difficult to get use to, not a machine you could just jump on and expect to be able to keep it on the road let alone between the rows. Once you're used to it, probably will quite like it. Rear tires follow in the front tire tracks around corners, a big plus in both livestock and cropping. Takes 15 seconds to spin the cab and 15 minutes to take off the loader. |
