Personal Life

Vjay Kumar Konda was born in Bhadrachalam from Khammam district. His father was an employee of Singareni Colleries and his mother is a house wife. Vijay Kumar was a merit student and stood district first in his seventh standard. He was then double promoted to tenth.
Career

It was in his Intermediate, Vijay Kumar’s mind started to deviate towards films. He used to have time more for extra-curricular activities like conducting programmes on the radio and watching cinema, than studying books. He started a team called ‘Sneha-Sahitya’ and used to do Serials for Radio. Later he shifted his focus on to TV and made serials like Vennela, Chiru Navvu etc. He shifted to film industry after completing his degree. He worked for several years in industry for Ajay Kumar, G.Nageswar Reddy. Nothing went his way for about 13 years. He approached Nithin with Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe story through his friend, Satyam Rajesh and it impressed Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy. Thus, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde went on to sets after Nithin’s comeback movie, Ishq. GJG went on to become a smashing hit. The film collected about 8 Crore share in Nizam region which is a phenomenal figure and 22 Crore plus share worldwide. With a blockbuster in his kitty with his debut movie, Vijay Kumar Konda managed to impress Naga Chaitanya for his second. The film ended up as no loss/no gain venture upholding his reputation.
