Vikings Fans Demand Bjorn Dies After Gunnhild's Shock 'throuple' Offer

Vikings fans have had enough of Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) and have called for his death after he was caught cheating on his wife.

Yes, things got all dramatic in Wednesday night’s episode, Valhalla Can Wait, as the King of Kattegat once again went behind his Queen’s back with her maid, Ingrid (Lucy Martin).

Gunnhild (Ragga Ragnars) walked in on the duo getting steamy between the fur sheets, but instead of leaving her man there and then, she came up with another idea – a viking version of a throuple.

Demanding that the pair wed, she explained how men can have more than one wife, and asked Ingrid to help raise their child as if it were her own.

‘I am not jealous,’ she insisted: ‘I was not born that way, but I see you are in love with Ingrid and nothing will change that either.’

Bjorn’s right-hand woman added: ‘I think you should be released from servitude and marry Bjorn.

‘If you two are in agreement we will all live together and our child with have the benefit of having two mothers.’

However, Gunnhild didn’t stop there, and went on to basically blame Lagertha’s (Katheryn Winnick) death on her son.

‘Your mother was attracted by the outlaws you released from Kattegat,’ she said as she left the room: ‘You’re a great man, but even great men make mistakes.’

Fans immediately took to Twitter following the scene and lashed out a Bjorn for going behind Gunnhild’s back.

‘Kill them both Gunnhild,’ one wrote while another commented: ‘Torvi and Gunnhild are both way more than what Bjorn deserves and he cheated on both of them. He sucks.’

Someone else felt the same, adding: ‘No Gunnhild, Bjorn is a narcissist incapable of loving anyone. Hop on a boat and visit Harald now!’

Gunnhild appears to be the new female lead after Lagertha was brutally murdered by the son of Ragnar, Hvitserk.

Talking about the episode, which was directed by Katheryn Winnick, she said: ‘Directed by a powerhouse of a woman! Strong, dedicated and knows what she wants!
