Can a dangerous serial killer be brought to justice?
Moo Jin Hyuk (Jang Hyuk) is an ace detective whose world falls apart when a serial killer kills his wife (Cha Soo Yeon). Kang Kwon Joo (Lee Ha Na) is a top graduate of the police academy who starts work as a 112 call center operator. Kwon Joo takes the emergency call from Jin Hyuk's wife and ends up overhearing the killing of her own father, who is a police sergeant.
Devastated, Kwon Joo goes to the United States to further her studies in voice profiling and returns to Korea years later to head up a 112 call center and establishes a special Golden Time Task Force to become the first responders in time-critical 112 emergency calls. Coerced onto the Golden Time special unit are Jin Hyuk, his partner Shim Dae Shik (Baek Sung Hyun), master computer hacker Oh Hyun Ho (Yesung) and multilinguist Park Eun Soo (Son Eun Seo).
Working together, can Jin Hyuk and Kwon Joo track down the same serial killer responsible for the loss of their loved ones?[1]

Reception[]
Ratings for Voice set new records for OCN dramas when it aired in Korea, proving to be a hit among viewers. It is one of the highest rated dramas in Korean cable television history and ranked first among cable TV dramas for many consecutive weeks.
Halfway airing through the series, the drama was submitted for Korea's censorship board review due to viewers' complaints of it showing excessive violence. It was subsequently issued an advisory warning. OCN then changed its viewing rating from the original of 15+ to 19+ for episodes 11, 12 and 16 in order to make the story as realistic as possible.
