It might not be the flashiest colour around, but the sandy tones of Ascot Grey is one for those people for which body colour doesn’t matter too much. It’s a no-cost option as well, so that means if you’re trying to save money on your car, it’s an easy choice. It’s a lighter colour so grime will show up very easily though and it doesn’t show up as well in the sun like a pearl or metallic colour can.

The Pure White and Deep Black combination is for those who really like the split-tone contrasting roof. With the solid body colour and shiny roof, it’ll glint in the sunlight and is the cheapest split-tone combination you can get on the Polo. That being said, the roof panel itself isn’t the biggest, but it teams up with the rest of the black detailing well.

White is a colour that has wide appeal with used car buyers, so you shouldn’t have problems selling a Polo in Pure white when you decide to upgrade to a new car. It helps, too, that the colour suits the car well, and lets the darker trim pieces stand out that little bit more. It’ll be a colour that’ll require frequent washes to keep looking spotless, though.

Metallic - Reef blue £770

Dirt can show up a bit easier on the lighter silver, but it works the best with the black roof, while it also looks very smart with the Polo.
