Definitely recommend

Have been mulling over getting the lens inserts for my Pimax Crystal for a few months now. As I'm far sighted I wasn't too sure of the improvement I would get. I checked over various suppliers and settled on VR Optician, not the cheapest but had good reviews. Ordered them from the UK and they arrived within 4 days.Wow, what a difference, I thought the Crystal was good but didn't realise how much I was missing, sooo sharp now, wish I'd ordered them earlier.Packaging and contents were excellent, very high quality.Definitely recommend.

Fast support, quick shipping, and good quality lenses

I had a good experience with VR Optician. Ordering was very easy, and support was quick to respond when I needed to change the shipping speed. Shipping time did not take too long — about a week or so. The lenses came in excellent condition and were exactly the same as my glasses. Eye tracking seems to have improved compared to my glasses. In addition, I can now adjust the headset to be significantly closer to my face, which increases the FOV substantially.

I strongly advise against purchasing…

I strongly advise against purchasing from this company as they engage in deceptive practices. I’ve been a customer since 2019 without any issues, but recently I got scam. Despite successfully placing an order a few days ago, they falsely claimed the payment failed and marked the order as unsuccessful. Strangely, they changed their names on PayPal. Although the payment is still pending from my PayPal and deducted from my bank account, they insist the transaction failed on their end, should be failed on my end as well and recommend trying a different payment method. This inconsistency is concerning and reflects poorly on their integrity.

Very fast shipment (I ordered within Germany) and the quality and fitting of the lenses for my PICO4 is exceptional! Very good quality for a very good price and the packaging also is on par with expensive glasses. Highly recommended.

On my 3rd set of lenses for my 3rd different headset. All excellent!

I've purchased Quest 2, PSVR2 and now Quest 3 lenses from them.All have been immaculate. Fitted perfectly, and the prescription spot on. Very quick too. Ordered my Quest 3 lenses at the start of the weekend, and despite having to be imported into the UK, arrived at my door early on the Thursday morning. So just 3 days really. If only my spectacle optician were that quick!

I should have left this review ages ago, but I just finished a session playing in VR and realised how much I owe the guys at VR Optician. Thanks to them I can see much more clearly in VR and don't need to risk scratching my glasses, thanks!It's also worth mentioning their website is very easy to use and their prices are very fair. The lenses they sent me also game in a really high-quality case with cleaning materials in and such. Awesome stuff!

Best quality and priced VR headset prescription lenses for my Meta Quest 2!! Don’t go anywhere else, and never go to Teddith!

I originally went with a company called Teddith, to put lenses into my Quest 2 VR. They arrived completely incorrect and won’t respond to me about getting my money back… £34.99 now given to my bank to chargeback!!I then went with VR Optician, after a recommendation, WOW!! I can use my VR without glasses on!! Top quality service, fast turn around and great communication from start to finish!Only £55 to use my headset without specs on!Thank you guys, great job!

Good job!

Arrived quicker than expected, good condition, works very well, slots in super easy - What more could you ask for?These are my first set of VR lenses (Rift CV1), to avoid scratching my VR headset with my glasses more... Which has done some some considerable damage mind you, fixed with PolyWatch polisher.This really does help the VR experience feel less restricted, recommended for anyone who has to wear glasses with VR.They also shipped a packet of micro-haribos with the order...They lasted 2 seconds. >:3

Brilliant product and service

Brilliant product and service - trying to fit my large varifocal glasses into the Rift S headset and having to wipe greasy marks off the lens regularly was tedious and frustrating. The lenses come in a nice little case with soft covers and are really simple to fit. They arrived as scheduled and work brilliantly - Skyrim has never looked so clear! :)

Cannot praise more highly!Bought previous set (for Rift S) right at the start of Covid (and just in time to pre-empt Brexit complications) and - understandably - there was some delay in manufacture and despatch but was kept informed throughout.Just upgraded to Reverb G2 and the ordered items were produced and delivered, from Germany to UK, within a week. Best HP Reverb G2 prescription Lenses.

Very impressed with all round service from start to finish. Would highly recommend VR Optician they are number one for VR optics. Brilliant German tech. They work great!

The lenses they made arrived well within the timeframe they provided and work flawlessly - SO much more comfortable than having to cram my glasses in. I heard some complaints of loss of FOV, but I didn't notice it any more than with my glasses. Contacts might work better for those who can wear them, but I need strong prism lenses so I'm SUPER glad these were an option.

Blown away

Blown away, ordered these about a week ago for my new Oculus Quest 2 as hated wearing my glasses with it. The quality is superb and their customer service was excellent; I have an odd prescription and they double checked to make sure it was correct. They arrived from Germany to the UK promptly and were really well packaged. My only slight regret was not getting their Zeiss Blue Duracoat coating as it was a bit expensive; my wife who's an optometrist said it was worth it, but I'm happy nontheless. The lenses fit very securely very easily and have made the VR experience much clearer.

Fast delivery, great quality.

If you have any reservations about ordering from VR Optician, I can wholeheartedly say that you have no need to worry. I got my lenses in less than a week and they work perfectly. They fit in my Quest 2 no problem and make the experience of VR much more enjoyable as someone who wears glasses. I even made a small mistake when I ordered mine, but they were quick to respond to my message through their email and correct it, even doing the weekend. While I haven't tried any other company that makes VR lenses, I can without a doubt say you won't go wrong if you buy from here.

Avoid at all cost, lenses not arrived after 3 weeks, is it a scam site?

Similar experience to many. Ordered on 27th November. It is now 17th December and tracking shows it as stuck in Germany. Have contacted support several times and they take no responsibility and say once DHL have it it is not their responsibility any more. I disagree! Please save your time and money and do not order from VR optician.

I recently purchased lenses with prescription for my VR headset and I am throughly satisfied with my purchase. The lenses fit perfectly onto the VR headset and do not significantly limit the field of view.What impressed me the most was the fast delivery. I live in Germany and received the lenses within just two weeks. They even added a small snack in the boxThe lenses arrived in a beautiful case which is great for storage and keeping them safe when not in use.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend these lenses to anyone who wears glasses and enjoys using VR headsets.

17 days and still don’t have my stuff...

17 days and I still don’t have my order. Right now I just want my money back. If you decide to buy from vroptician make sure you choose express shipping and pay the extra price because they use the cheapest (slowest) method to ship. Honestly, I’d recommend choosing another company for vr lenses. I original chose them because they had zeiss lenses and from a YouTube reviewer, zeiss are supposedly very good. But if you never get your order they aren’t really the best option...
