Joined Aug 30, 2004 Messages 122 Reaction score 0 Location Dublin, Ireland Your Mercedes 96 W124 320 Coupe Hi, Anyone got any suggestions on how to remove the speaker grilles on the dash of a 124? I need to inspect / replace speakers. Cheers. M

Joined Mar 27, 2005 Messages 198 Reaction score 0 Age 51 Location Ipswich speaker grill removal there should be a darker strip of plastic cover on the inside of each grill that prizes up to reveal 2 philips screws,(you will need a small stumpy screwdriver for the front ones as its rather close to the screen) J

Personally, I used the largest philips from one of those cheap spectacle/'jewel' screwdriver sets you can purchase to undo the fastening screws. P. You must log in or register to reply here.
