Christmas Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Role	Summary
Checking Centre - Christmas Shoebox Checkers & Carton Packers	We are looking for volunteers to check the contents of Christmas gift boxes and lovingly pack them for delivery to children in Eastern Europe and Africa, bringing them joy. Training will be provided.
Japanese Gardens Christmas Steward	Volunteer stewards are required at The Enchanted Garden Winter Lights at the Japanese Gardens in Tramore, from 4.15 - 6.15 pm and 6.15 - 8.15 pm from Thursday to Sunday, between the 29th of November and the 31st of December.
Making Christmas Cards for Nursing Home Residents 2024	Would you like to make a Christmas Card for an elderly person in your community? There are many nursing homes in Waterford with residents who would love a Christmas greeting from a kind-hearted person.
Winterval Ambassador	The role of Winterval Ambassador involves running the information centre and assisting with queries from the general public, giving directions and offering suggestions on what to do during the festival.
Winterval Funfair & Circus Museum Attendant	As a volunteer, you'll be at the heart of making this an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike. You play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Winterval Gateway Attendant	This other worldly Christmas decoration was inspired by the unique and iconic design of Waterford City's Apple Market. Ensure members of the public have a fun, safe & exciting time while using the Portal & Infinity Bauble.
Winterval Glow Gardens Attendant	Join us at New Street Gardens in the heart of Waterford City Centre, where a luminous oasis has been crafted for everyone to relish. As a volunteer, you'll be an essential part of making this beautiful and unforgettable.
Winterval Illuminates Attendant	As a volunteer, you'll be at the heart of making this an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike. You play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Winterval Train Attendant	Join us for a delightful adventure as we take visitors on a fun-filled ride through the historic streets of Waterford.
