Excelpure 10" Coconut Carbon GAC Water Filter by Waterite Technologies

Reduces and removes chlorine, herbicides, pesticides, bad taste and odors and more from your water.

Carbon made from Coconut Shells produce healthier, chemical free, and better-tasting drinking water. They are designed to allow maximum contact between the water and carbon, ensuring maximum adsorption. Replacement times for this filter vary on the amount of water filtered and the incoming water conditions.

Waterite Technologies was a Canadian water treatment equipment manufacturer founded in 2000 known for its broad portfolio of high quality water softeners, iron filters, and ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems. Popular POU water purification systems included Waterite's line of Vectapure reverse osmosis (RO) systems, the Ultra-Compact V360 for residential applications, the RSX commercial RO and the VectaMaxx for demanding industrial environments.

Today, many Waterite products and technologies continue under Franklin Water Treatment Canada following the acquisition of Waterite Inc. in 2020. While legacy Waterite systems and replacement components are still supported, newer Franklin Water Treatment solutions often provide compatible replacements or upgraded next-generation designs for many Waterite installations.

For many Canadians the huge selection of industry standard, specialty filter cartridges, filtration media, BlackMax membranes and housings made Waterite the #1 water treatment brand of choice for decades.

About Waterite Technologies, Inc.

Waterite was headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and became well known across North America for designing and distributing water treatment and purification equipment. The company operated regional sales offices and distribution facilities throughout Canada and the United States, serving residential households, commercial facilities, and industrial water treatment applications.

Waterite systems addressed a wide range of water quality concerns including hardness, iron, manganese, sediment, chlorine, and other contaminants. Their product portfolio included water softeners, media filtration systems, reverse osmosis drinking water systems, ultraviolet disinfection equipment, filter cartridges, membrane housings, and a variety of treatment components.
