WHAT IS G3 AND G4 IN BADMINTON RACKETS
Difference between 3U and 4U In Badminton Racket
Grip size of badminton racket is denoted by “G”. Most racket manufacturers provide 4 - 5 grip sizes indicated by G1, G2, G3, G4 and G5. G3 grip size is of 3.5 inches whereas G4 grip size measures 3.3 inches. All the grip sizes may vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer but generalized sizes are shown below :
Grips of racket should not be big enough so that when racket is held correctly, the tip of your ring finger must not touch the palm. Generally, attacking players fancy bigger grips as they need to hold the racket more tightly to generate power whereas players who like to rally and make use of deception, usually prefer a smaller grip so that turning of rackets become simple and easy.

Rear court smashes were ok, nothing special. From mid court you can change the pace easily and get good smashes. I felt this racket is a bit on the flexible side of the medium stiffness and quite wonky feeling. Easy to do drop shots, net play was easier for me. It really does feel like a 5u so if you want more solid feel then go for a 3u. Backhand shots are super easy with this. My blocks went out easily when I tried to block smashes to the sides. This could be the different strings or more flexible shaft than on my previous one. Overall 4/5.

K YangYang 300B BWF Approved Feather shuttlecock Speed 77 - Pre Order only Great AS30 alternativeThey are great value shuttles. Fly well, feel great, a bit slow as they are speed 77s but in the humid sports hall we play at, they're perfect where all 78 speed shuttles are too fast
