    Z87 > H87 & Q87

It doesn't matter for if you aren't going to OC nor SLI, Z87 will always have better features and in most cases, better build quality.

You might also want to look at B85 chipset motherboards. They often have good price points.

H87 is not overclockable if you want that feature set grab hold of a Z87 chipset.

Unless you can get more than you want out of a H87/Q87 please stick with a Z87 ready motherboard you don't need to overclock if you don't want to.

Buy a MATX Z87 its cheaper than a full ATX with most of the features.

I'm sorry, but....HOLY SWEET TITS!! What haven't you BUILT and already GAMING your PC yet????

It's been like 2 (almost 3) months of non-stop asking of which god damn motherboard!!

You are using a "non K" i7-4770. You are not using SLI. You need USB 3.0 ports.

    Stick with a H87. Done.

    Also:

Stop asking about the FUTURE; even Linus said in his new video, you cannot Future-proof. We cannot see the future, we are not time travellers.

just listen to you wallet if it says z87 go for it otherwise take h87.

but in the future you will get more out of your z87 than out your h87, like overclocking when you need more than you have.

I'm sorry you didn't find a detailed article explaining the differences between the chipsets helpful. As to what is better, only you can decide that since you are the only one who knows your exact needs.
