'What's Going On': Commentators Lose It Over 'insane' Boxing Match

The boxing world has lost it over Shanell Dargan and Ashleigh Sims after they slugged it out in an insane boxing fight on the main card of Aussie boxer Harry Garside's professional bout.

While Garside may have headlined the main event with a win over Maneur Manet, Dargan and Sims stole the show with a barnstorming bout that had the commentators in shock.

The Super featherweight clash involved Sims, wife of rugby league player Tariq Sims, and Dargan who appeared on X-Factor Australia in 2014.

And the bout started in dramatic fashion.

Dargan charged out of the gates and rocked Sims twice in the opening stages as the pair traded haymakers.

The frenetic pace of the opening round had commentator Ben Damon flabbergasted.

"What is going on?" he said on Fox Sports.

"I did not see that coming. That's incredible."

While Dargan took early control, Sims worked her way back into the contest.

The bout finished a majority draw, with one judge deeming the score 39-37 to Dargan.

Boxing world reacts to insane fight

The boxing world was quick to react to the incredible scenes that unfolded in the ring.

The pair agreed for a rematch after the entertaining bout.

Before the decision was confirmed, No Limit Boxig's George Rose announced both fighters would receive a $5,000 bonus for their efforts.

Meanwhile, Garside defeated Matet 98-92 x 2 and 99-91 in his second professional bout since the Olympics.

Garside gained cult status after his bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2021.
