| Nebraska | I'm a Deere guy, but after looking at a TG 215 at the New Holland dealer it got my brain spinning. The New Holland is a 2007, super steer, new inside tires, 19 spd powershift, 540/1000 pto, 3600 hours. Priced at $86,500 Another tractor jockey I know has a really nice 1998 Deere 8100, Only 1000 pto, good rubber, MFWD, and 5,000 actual hours. Priced at $83,000. A 2007 Deere 8130 in comparison to the TG hours would be in the 130K range. The New Holland is almost 10 years newer. The TG is auto steer ready, the 8100 is not. What would you guys do? Go blue or stay Green? Dealer support is good for both for me. |

| North Central Illinois | Not a fan of the Blue tractors but in this case I don't think you have a choice. If it had a good home buy the blue one. No brainer. |
NW Central Iowa (Fort Dodge) | The green one shouldn't even be a option, when your talking about age, hours. It is because the tractor is painted green is why your considering it?Edited by magnumman 4/16/2014 18:26 |

| South central Minnesota | If the NH is in good condition id go with the 215 at that price. Price seems almost a bit too good. We have both Deeres and NH. Both myself and the help will pick the NH first. The NH hood may not be attractive but gives great visibility. The cab is quieter and ride is better with the NH. Mark |

| Nebraska | Forgot to tell you guys I have run 8000's and I like them but the T8030 New Holland I ran for a few days was very nice also. |
| Central Missouri | 8100 sounds kinda high priced to me. What does everyone else think? |
| SW Ont | My stuff is all green, for that kind of money I would by the 215. The JD might be over priced but that is too much diff for hours and year. |
| Man I love my deere's, I have 6. but for that $ I would buy the NH, not think twice really |
| Saronville NE | That 8100 is way overpriced. I like my Deeres, but Id pry go to the NH if they were my only 2 choices. |
| 8000 Deere's are pretty cool, but not that cool. I don't know why people are asking the price that they are, and getting the price that they are at auction for that series tractor. Try the NH, even if you don't like it you have a tractor that is a lot newer and with a lot less hours and better tires to try to sell. But I would at least try it if I could.Edited by J,ReinkeFarms 4/16/2014 20:14 |

 | For comparison, an 8130 is way more tractor than an 8100. |
| Buy the green one...made the same mistake once not again. TG's are an electical nightmare |
New castle PA | Not sure about that. Any tractor could be a problem. Sure the TM's were suspect, but the TG's are very reliable. |
New castle PA | Anderson Tractor in Ohio has a TG 210 with 2400 hrs for $84,500. I've looked at it more than once on Tractor House... Not super steer, but it has the suspended front end. |
| Saronville NE | Couple 8110s on Tractorhouse with less then 5k hrs for $85k range. Heck their is a 8120 w 6500 hrs $88k. Shop around that 8100 is way overpriced. 8220 w 5300 hrs $85k All on tractorhouse. All Midwest tractors also.Edited by ahay68979 4/16/2014 21:41 |

| Sunnyside, WA | I bought an 8245R IVT this week with a half the hours the NH215 has for not far off what you think that 8130 should cost with 3600 hours.Edited by J. Sheehan 4/16/2014 22:12 |

| EC IL | Id do a little more shopn and comparing before you jump in and buy something you regret and then have a tough time getting rid of it. Theres a reason the green ones hold their resale. |
| Nebraska | I'm not jumping on anything yet, just thought these numbers were interesting and wanted to hear your guys opinions |

| Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | ahay68979 - 4/16/2014 19:34 Heck their is a 8120 w 6500 hrs $88k. . That doesn't sound like much of a deal. I bought an 8120 a couple months ago with 3700 hours for $93,500, and I thought that was enough. Its hard to believe what tractors are going for. I got my 8130 with 600 hours for $134,000 years ago. Now with 3,000 more hours its still worth that? People are asking too much for used tractors. Edited by Big Ben 4/16/2014 23:54 |

| JD has to sell for more, because they charge you more up front and using your money. I'd take the NH any day over a 8100. |
| Saronville NE | I agree Ben, but still looks like a buy vs a $85k 8100. |
| ND | You still can get parts for the putt putt 2 cyl tractors & Fiat-NH-CIH doesn't have parts for the CIH 90 series 4WD gear drive tractors-trans gears or some transmission parts on Magnum tractors, so how good are the NH if in 15 yrs parts are a problem. Deere is still American. Fiats are at least the third buyer of IH & or Case. |
