As of August 2023, the New Jersey Department of Health is no longer maintaining a roster of free testing sites. Contact your local health department, municipality or trusted community organization to learn about possible local resources. People without health insurance who have symptoms related to COVID-19 or who were exposed to someone with COVID-19 can locate free testing through the CDC ICATT program.

Home test kits for COVID-19 are widely available in pharmacies, grocery stores, and other retail locations.

Beginning September 25th, every U.S. household can again place an order to receive four more free COVID-19 rapid tests delivered directly to their home at https://www.covid.gov/tests.
