#1 · Aug 22, 2013 Hello! I have a new-to-me 2004 Jetta GLS TDI and I'm still learning the ins-and-outs. Can anyone point me to a resource to "decode" my car's option code sticker? Here's what the sticker says after the VIN: N.I.V JETTA GLS I474/1.9 C?M Type 9M2534 Eng. code / Trans. code BEW EUH Paint No./Interior LR9A EB 2979 Options X9A C2S G0C H5A J0R K8B MS7 4UB V0T VOA 0A2 0N5 1AF 1C2 1G2 1H0 1MP 2JN 5RR 5SH 0CM 4X8 0GM 3L3 3Q6 QG0 3YR 4A3 8BL G28 8US C0D QZ3 3FE 4KO 4R4 8Y1 8L3 9AB Obviously there's a "story" behind all those codes? M looks like H, U might be a V, etc. because the original printing on the sticker is sort of poor. I think this list is very close though. I noted that the letter o and the numeral 0 both are translated the same. VW obviously used only one type of character her to avoid confusion. Many thanks!
