dekaliber D Is there a difference on a 2005 330i? I asked my dealer to pull up the options sheet and it lists "0522 Xenon headlights". Unfortunately, I won't be seeing the car until next week but I'll look for it. Was there still a difference between regular xenons and bi-xenons in the 2005 MY? I found a 2004 brochure and it only lists one option for Xenon Headlights, without any mention of "bi-xenon" or the adaptive feature anywhere. #4 · Jul 9, 2010 Xenon is low beam and a separate bulb for hi beam. Bi-Xenon is both low and hi beam from the same bulb. 0 Reply #5 · Jul 9, 2010 All 2002+ E46s (in the US anyway) have bixenons (if they have the xenon option). From reading the coupe and sedan brochures, it looks like the adaptive headlights were only available on coupes? The sedan brochure states "Xenon headlights with auto-leveling" as an option and the coupe brochure states "Xenon headlights with auto-leveling and Adaptive Headlights." I guess my question about bi-xenon vs. xenon is whether these, in fact, are two separate options on a MY 2005 car. From reading the brochures, it didn't appear so. It's either [bi]Xenon, or regular (halogen?) projectors, right? Insert Quotes Post Reply
