XGIMI H3S is the upgraded version of XGIMI H3. Compared with the old H3, it is mainly upgraded in the three aspects of sound and picture, protection and experience. 1 Configuration In terms of configuration, XGIMI H3S is equipped with Mediatech chip MTK 9669, which has a great improvement over XGIMI H3 in terms of CPU and GPU computing power. At the same time, the configuration of 4GB operation memory and 64GB storage space is better than 3GB+16GB of XGIMI H3. In other words, the XGIMI H3S runs faster and can install more applications. On the system, both projectors use the Android-based INUI system. 2 Sound and Picture In terms of display parameters, both projectors have a 0.47-inch DMD chip with a physical resolution of 1080P. In terms of luminance, however, the XGIMI H3S uses a self-developed optical machine with a luminance of 2200ANSI lumens, compared with 1900ANSI lumens for the XGIMI H3. In addition, in terms of picture quality technology, XGIMI H3S also takes a step further. It uses X-VUE 2.0 picture quality engine, carries out color processing through AI model calculation, and supports HDR10+. Compared with X-VUE 1.0 and HDR10 of XGIMI H3, the picture processing is more refined. In terms of sound quality, both projectors use Harman Kadon sound, but XGIMI H3S uses an R-ring design and DTS sound, which provides 360° surround sound.​ 3 Function The XGIMI H3 released in 2019 was actually a little out of date in terms of functionality, while the XGIMI H3S has been significantly upgraded as expected. First of all, in terms of protection function, XGIMI H3S supports environmental light adaptive, and the picture will be automatically soft at night. Besides, when you close to the camera, the screen will automatically dim to prevent glare. It also automatically switches to low blu-ray mode when playing children's content. XGIMI H3 has none of these protections. In general, New XGIMI H3S is significantly ahead of the old XGIMI H3, both in terms of configuration and functionality. By choosing XGIMI H3S, you may have a better user experience.
