Xi 999 was a clone trooper in the 88th Assault Regiment during the Clone Wars and afterwards. He saw much action, with the rest of his unit, during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Following the declaration Order 66, his unit killed their Jedi General, a Jedi Master named Qorl Li. Him and his unit proved to be effective against Jedi, and were used extensively during the Great Jedi Purge. He later saw action against the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the following Galactic Civil War as a member of the Stormtrooper Corps. The Rebel Army command noted that his unit was one of the most dangerous faced by the Alliance. After the deaths of Palpatine and Darth Vader over Endor, him and his unit fought for Grand Vizier Sate Pestage and later the director of Imperial Intelligence. At some point he served Grand Admiral Thrawn, until his death.When the Emperor returned in a clone body, he swore allegiance to him and defended Imperial territory in the Inner Rim Territories. Following Operation Shadow Hand and Palpatine's final death, him and his unit served the Imperial Remnant of Admiral Pelleon.
