Xi Sheng (希声, Xī Shēng) was a feminine vocal being developed for the MUTA engine. She is the counterparty to Wei Yang and a mascot of Tianyi Love Music Culture Technology Co., Ltd.. As of 2021, Xi Sheng has been cancelled.

History[]

Not much is known about the history of Xi Sheng. She debuted, in concept, around the same time as her counterpart, Wei Yang. From this point onwards, she had little-to-no news aside from being featured in Wei Yang media.

On January 17th, 2020, Xi Sheng's first and only demonstration was posted.[1]

Concept[]

Xi Sheng is the counterpart to Wei Yang. While Wei Yang sports a boyish hip-hop inspired demeanor, Xi Sheng has more traditional roots in virtual idol imagery.

Etymology[]

"希" (Xī) is the character for "Hope". Together with "声" (Shēng), the character for sound, her name can be interpreted as "the Sound of Hope".

Appearance[]

Xi Sheng's design takes heavy inspiration from traditional virtual idol imagery. Her signature color is a lilac color that appears throughout the design head-to-toe. Xi Sheng wears a white and purple body suit, with wing-like sleeves on either arm that match her thigh-high stockings. A pair of open toe heels, feline headset, and two ribbons protruding from either side of her waist add the final touches to her overall appearance.
