Property
Pungent, warm, slightly toxic; lung, kidney and heart meridians entered.
Actions
Relieve exterior and dispel cold, dispel wind to alleviate pain, free nasal orifice and warm orifice and warm lung and relieve cough.
Indications
For exterior syndrome due to wind-cold, headache, toothache, arthralgia due to wind-damp, rhinorrhea with turbid discharge, and cough with dyspnea due to lung-cold.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 1~3 g. Take 0.5~1 g powder each time.
Cations
Prohibited for headache due to hyperactivity of yang caused by yin deficiency and dry cough caused by lung dryness hurting yin. It is not allowed to use it together with Li Lu.
