In January, Xiaomi revealed the Gaming Mouse Lite, a 72 g gaming mouse sold through its Youpin platform. While Xiaomi only launched the Gaming Mouse Lite in China, it is now available to order outside Xiaomi’s home market via AliExpress. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not confirmed whether it plans to sell the Gaming Mouse Lite in other markets directly, though.

Still, the Gaming Mouse Lite is purchasable for US$23.75, including free shipping. However, we should stress that you may incur customs duties and charges, depending on from where you order it. For context, Xiaomi charges CNY 129 (~US$20) for the Gaming Mouse Lite in China.

As we discussed in January, the Gaming Mouse Lite is IP54 certified, which should protect the mouse against sweat build-up when gaming. However, this IP rating also means that the Gaming Mouse Lite lacks the dust and water protection of most smartphones, which tend to offer IP67 or IP68 certification.

Additionally, the Gaming Mouse Lite has a Pixart 3327 optical sensor with five DPI presets. According to Xiaomi, the gaming mouse can operate at 400-6,200 DPI, which it complements with a 1,000 Hz polling rate. Supposedly, the built-in ARM NXP processor allows the Gaming Mouse Lite to offer this level of precision. Incidentally, Xiaomi has included an RGB lighting strip, the effects of which you can customise using proprietary software.
