Redmi released an upgrated version of there successful gaming notebook, the e-sports performance monster sports a 16.1 inch screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the new Intel Core i5-11260H and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU or AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. Both variants offer 512GB internal SSD storage and 16GB DDR 3200MHz RAM. The gaming laptop is equipped with a backlit keyboard and DTS:X Ultra support.

The device is powered by an Intel i5-11260H hexa-core processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 or an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H octa-core chipset and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, with 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. The powerful gaming laptop features the same 16.1 inch full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 300nits brightness and 100% sRBG for the previous model.

The two variants support a screen with 144 Hertz. The gaming device comes with a total of three USB ports, two of them ultra fast USB 3.2 Gen2 ports with up to 10Gb/s transfer rate and one normal USB 2.0 slot. It also features a HDMI 2.0 port and a Mini Display Port 1.4, an Ethernet Gigabit connector, a 3.5mm jack, and a charging port. New is the Thunderbolt 4 Port with a max. transfer rate of 40Gbps.

The DST surround 3D sound provide a wealth of sound effect presets and sound effect customization options. The two models of the Xiaomi Redmi G 2021 Gaming Notebook support dual-band Wi-Fi 6, upgraded Bluetooth 5.2, 2x 2W speakers, DDTS:X Ultra Audio, and a 1MP HD webcam with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The laptop battery also got an upgrade and packs a 80Wh battery now and ships with Windows 10 Home Chinese or Windows 10 Pro OS.
