A few months ago, I wrapped up 5 years of #AgencyLife to embark on a new journey – into the scary, thrilling, yet rewarding world of startups. The past 100 days at StoreHub (also known as Beep Delivery to most people) were NOT what I had expected. I expected all the stereotypes about startups – that they are full of uncertainty; and to succeed, one will need to put in long hours or risk falling behind. What I got instead was agility, room for experimentation, creative opportunities, and the freedom to chart my own growth. I also have the privilege of being able to support 9 other colleagues in the Social, Content and Creative Team as they grow within their roles and progress in their careers. Was it unexpected? Yes.
