But with you having the v8 I could see you having it like the full size. Should still be near the booster/fuse block though as they'd use a very similar harness layout. Mooseman

Not even the V8 on this platform according to that list. @JohnScarfiJr , did you get a code pointing to something in the throttle system? Need GMT360/370 Service Manuals? Get them Here! Sourced the part through Summit Racing and it's listed there. As a V8 I think it should be the same as other applications ie., pickup truck. I will go to the local Dick Norris GMC dealership and get an answer. Let you all know. As a retired aircraft mechanic I seldom get a true challenge so off on a treasure hunt I go. Toodles! B

None of which show any seperate module from the throttle body itself. picture of a tahoe shows it in the top right corner of the fire wall (looking at the engine). an actual picture of your particular motor / thottle body will likely clear up the issue quickly. If you post a picture of the throttle body on your truck, the forum will likely solve this for you. NOTE: the P2101 code doesn't actually mean you have a seperate TAC module from the throttle body. 2008 TB 4.2l Mooseman

BUICKRAINIER2004
CHEVROLETSSR2003-2004
CHEVROLETTRAILBLAZER2003-2004
GMCENVOY2003-2004
ISUZUASCENDER2003-2004
I will take a look later today, when I'm near my Voy. From the pics I see on Rock, I'm guessing it's an 'outside' part (e.g.; somewhere in the engine compartment). But that's ONLY a guess. Will post back later. while the throttle body looks like the "normal" throttle actuated control motor system. I doubt there is another seperate module. Just follow the cable leave the throttle body and see where it goes... most likely to the PCM. where is your pcm mounted? Last edited: May 15, 2019 2008 TB 4.2l Reprise

Well, I don't have the fancy-pants Denali, but my '03 XL *is* a 5.3, friend. That's why I jumped in the post. Anyway, here's what mine looks like...and it looks like they changed things up in '05, based on your pics. Oh, and gentle admonishment... it should be a 4WD, not an AWD. If you want me to snap my TB, let me know (sorry it's not visible in the wide shot) 88620 88621 (only the one plug is visible here, but there's a second one behind it - I checked.) On edit: Quoth @Mooseman - 'But man that looks a LOT like a PCM.' It is...there are two part #4's listed, same 8-digit part #. I guess what they're trying to show is that the TAC is integrated (?) into the PCM -? GM doesn't usually list parts that way, though. FWIW, I don't think it's a case of 'yours being located somewhere else', but rather 'the '05-up don't have them' (external modules) '03 Envoy XL 5.3 w/ 3.73; '03 Sierra 1500HD Quadrasteer w/ 4.10 & Traction Ctrl (1 of 237 made) Did you get an issue resolved, your GMT back on the road, or save :twocents: by using this site? (Side curtain air bags, auto diming mirrors etc.) The 07+ full size trucks have the module integrated and I would believe the same goes for your 05.
