psb2008 Hi Folks seen a few posts around this issue already however Ive run into a slighly different problem. Suddenly one day my vehicle started showing 2 errors 1. Engine fault - repair needed 2. Adblue - emissions control unit fault Called out AA as I have BRC. Followimg errors were recorded from the diagnostics fault code/s:System : Engine control 1 - 8HN / Diesel EDC 17C60 Status :U3FFF - This fault code can be ignored.. Error Message : Ignore fault entry. Sporadic error present.P2201 - NOx sensor. Error Message : Component blocked Took it to Peugeot as most likely a sensor went faulty. But unfortunately ive been told The ADblue pump/injector has gone faulty 2 sensors need replacing and The catalytic converter has rusted/ corroded... which will need replacing too !! The car is a 2016 plate and has done 37k miles. I have FSH with Peugeot and Ive owned the car brand new How on earth a cat converter corrodes under 5 years with that kind of mileage... would like to hear some opinions of what should be done to get vehicle back onnthe road. My 2008 is one of the face-lift released in 2016. I have FSH with peugeot and even got them to replace brakes all around ( everywhere I enquired were more expensive )Anyway back to the issue.. Im still in a tussle with the brand to have the faults fixed within a goodwill...lets see where it goes... 0 Reply #3 · Jul 17, 2021 Adblue UREA issues. Here is what i'm currently going through! you're not alone #5 · Jul 21, 2021 are they saying the cat needs replacing as the sensor is rusted/seized into it? if the cat is only rusted on the outside, but is otherwise ok (working) then a second opinion may be called for? #6 · Jul 22, 2021 So, it looks like they have accepted a manufacturing fault and hopefully all repair costs will be covered under a 'goodwill" #7 · Jul 23, 2021 Well done, let us know it goes. #8 · Aug 12, 2021 Just a quick update. Car fixed and had to pay nothing. Only had to bear inconvenience for a few weeks. #9 · Aug 13, 2021 Congratulations thanks for keeping us updated Insert Quotes Post Reply
