I used one and got a very obvious + but with this pregnancy I only got faint lines. The only test that was obvious was clear blue digitals.aabril444

Lol, it's not weird, I did the same thing. I used the $1 dollar store tests and it worked great for me - and like pp said, the line doesn't disappear so the test is also in my ds's baby book now.AAnutza@manda2808,

Yes they are pretty accurate.... For both my pregnancies I got 1st positive with this one I trust and recomand and if the 88c shows positive I'd try another like first reaponse one or ather one .AAnutza@manda2808,

I went on eBay and bought 25 brand new sealed pregnancy tests for $4! If you're looking for a deal, choose those. I am on birth control, but am scared of it failing and not knowing about it, but I bought these to test every month. I used the 88c ones, but the ones I bought on eBay were basically the same kind. Gotta love eBay!jjaxie87

Just like some of the other posters I used dollar store tests. Before I got preggo with my son, I was a pos addict and used just about every kind of test. At one point I was buying first reaponse tests all the time, spending A fortune! I tested one day, got a negatie.the next day I decided to use my last test and then I wasnt going to buy anymore unless I missed my period and low and behold it was positive! So my friend brou ght over a dollar store test she had and it actually showed up darker than the frer.from that day on I've only used dollar store tests. PPeaches&Cream

Woow how interesting..I took a cvs first step preg test last week (7 days after my missed period) and got a negative. I took a .88 cent walmart test yesterday and got a POSitive!! Not faint at all!! We will most likely take another one (different brand) in a few days and see whats going on \ud83d\ude23LLindsayC2014@Peaches&Cream,

I got a positive with one! I went back and tested with a more expensive one... Ha But they are good to have on hand for that first test. Especially if you are like me and blow through them.

Keep in mind, don't attempt to test early. They aren't meant for that. Even tests marketed to tell you before your period have such a low chance of being accurate until you actually miss your period.
