The cost of running a dog shelter has skyrocketed in recent years. With adoption numbers decreasing, and the cost of living increasing, we are struggling to keep our doors open and provide safe, loving environments for dogs in need.

ASD and many other shelters, are also facing unprecedented numbers of returned and abandoned dogs, alongside exponentially increasing medical bills. This means more dogs are being turned away, more are spending a longer time at the kennels, and many will never know the comfort of a home.
