CAS Shelter UpdatesThis week, we said goodbye to an old friend, Ah Leng.Ah Leng was one of the first dogs CAS rescued back in 2013, soon after we registered as an organisation. She had been trapped in Tuas as part of our TNRM programme, and during her intake we discovered she had TVT and needed treatment. We treated her, cared for her, and eventually rehomed her puppies.Ah Leng herself was a special soul. She adored the few familiar people she trusted, but she was a flight risk with everyone else. Because of this, she never found a home of her own. Instead, she made her home with us, spending 13 long, good years under our care. Shelter dog or not, she lived a happy, comfortable, and well-loved life. She left us at the grand age of approximately 14.We want to thank all the volunteers and vets who helped care for her over the years, and as always, offer a special thank-you to the Animal World Veterinary team for their constant support for our animals. We’re sure Ah Leng is having the time of her life in doggie heaven. Picture
