There are 28 Unown hiding all around Hisui in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. This complete Unown guide includes the reward you'll get for finding all the Unown, the translated Unown clues, how to catch Unown, and all Unown locations in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Unown are mysterious Pokemon that you'll start seeing after you've played through a portion of Arezu's Predicament. They're hidden in plain sight in trees, on signs, inside tree stumps, and other odd places.

How to Catch Unown

Once you find one of these hidden Unown in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, all you have to do is toss a Poke Ball at it to catch it to add it to the Unown tab of the Pokedex. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time, but just try again!

Unown Reward

Once you've collected all 28 of these Unown, Unown will begin spawning as regular Pokemon do inside the Solaceon Ruins of the Crimson Mirelands . This includes Alpha Unown and Shiny Unown!

Shiny Unown

To hunt for Shiny Unown once you've collected the static Unown, simply check the Solaceon Ruins. If there are no Shiny Unown, leave to Jubilife Village, and then return to check. Each time you leave and come back, the Pokemon on the map are regenerated with different Natures, levels, Effort Levels, and Shiny Odds. Go inside Galaxy Hall to the top floor, then exit from the Commander's office to get to the roof. Find Unown W on the Magikarp statue on the southwest corner of the Galaxy Hall roof in Jubilife Village.

Find Unown I on the north side of the rock formation in Lake Verity of Obsidian Fieldlands.

Find Unown S directly on the west side of Tidewater Dam in Obsidian Fieldlands.

Find Unown X up the Grandtree on a branch in the Obsidian Fieldlands. You'll need the ride Pokemon Sneasler and/or Braviary to get it.

Find Unown G stuck to a rock at the top of Obsidian Falls in Obsidian Fieldlands.

Find Unown E in a tree on a small island in the Grueling Grove of the Obsidian Fieldlands.

Crimson Mirelands Unown Locations

Find Unown D on a tree stump at the campfire north of the main campsite in the Crimson Mirelands.

Find Unown K on a stack of rocks on the cliff in the south area of the Shrouded Ruins in the Crimson Mirelands.

Find Unown A at the top of an A-frame tent within the northeast of the Diamond Settlement in the Crimson Mirelands.

Find Unown V hanging on a near-dead tree in the west side of the largest body of water within the Scarlet Bog of the Crimson Mirelands.

Cobalt Coastlands Unown Locations

Unown Q Location

Find Unown Q in the tree to the left of the entrance to Turnback Cave in the Cobalt Coastlands. You must climb over the rock wall to get there.

Unown R Location

Find Unown R at the very point of Veilstone Cape, behind the gravestone in the Cobalt Coastlands.

Unown B Location

Fund Unown B on the west wall of the centermost rock structure on Firespit Island - you'll need Feather Balls to catch it. It's behind the Alpha Ninetales that spawns there.

Unown Z Location

Unown Z is on the mast of a shipwreck on the north coast of the Deadwood Haunt in the Cobalt Coastlands.

Unown N Location

Unown N

Unown N is on the east side of the eastmost horn that sticks out of the sea near Sand's Reach of the Cobalt Coastlands. You'll need to jump up with Basculegion and throw a Poke Ball to catch it.

Coronet Highlands Unown Locations

You'll need to use the ride Pokemon Sneasler to climb to the lava pools at the top of the Ancient Quarry in Coronet Highlands. Find Unown F near the top of the rocky spire next to the lava pools. The jagged rocks make it cumbersome to get close to the Unown. You can easily catch it from the base of the spire by using a Feather Ball.

Unown J Location

Find Unown J inside the Ancient Quarry at Coronet Highlands. If you enter the quarry from the Sonorous path, you'll find Unown J on the left wall near the center of the quarry. You can easily reach it without climbing by using a Feather Ball.

Unown L Location

Unown L

Find Unown L inside Wayward Cave at Coronet Highlands. This is very easy to find after Ingo sets the torches during the quest Scaling Perilous Heights. Enter Wayward Cave from the bridge entrance and follow the torches through the tunnel. Right after the fourth torch, look to the left. Destroy the large boulders with one of your Pokemon and follow the tunnel. You'll find Unown L on the wall where the tunnel dead ends.

Unown P Location

Find Unown P within the flowerbed near the entrance to the Fabled Spring near the SW corner of Coronet Highlands.

Unown C Location

Find Unown C at the top of a ruined archway near the Dialga statue at the Celestica Ruins in Coronet Highlands. You'll need to use the ride Pokemon Sneasler to climb the top of the ruins.

Alabaster Icelands Unown Locations

Find Unown Y about halfway up the Icebound Falls on the southern edge of the Alabaster Icelands.

Unown O Location

Unown O

Unown O is in a cavern underground called the Ice Column Chamber near the SW corner of the Alabaster Icelands. Look for a big hole in the ground, marked on the map below, just west of Avalanche Slopes and climb down into the icy cavern. Walk all the way back to Find Unown O behind the pillar on the left. Be careful of the Alpha Froslass within the cavern.

Find Unown ! on top of a tree on the western side of the Snowfall Hot Spring.

Unown T Location

Find Unown T on top of a pillar on the NW side of Avalugg's Legacy. You'll need the ride Pokemon Braviary to fly to the top of Avalugg's Legacy.

Unown U Location

Unown U

Look for the odd rock sticking out of the top of Heart's Crag on the eastern edge of the Alabaster Icelands. Climb to the very top of the mountain to find Unown U behind the odd rock.
