2021 has been a game-changing year for Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa. She announced the purchase of a gas station, a convenience store, and became one of the founding creators on Playboy’s CENTERFOLD platform. But some things never change for the controversial adult star and that is social media bans, this time from Instagram.

Amouranth has finally revealed that she is still banned on Instagram and why it happened. Unfortunately, she most likely isn’t getting the accounts back any time soon.

Why is Amouranth banned on Instagram?

Amouranth states that her Instagram accounts were banned due to dubious mass-reporting efforts.

In October of 2021, Amouranth was banned from Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch all around the same time. At the time she didn’t seem too concerned. To nobody’s surprise, she got her Twitch back quite fast, a pattern Amouranth has with the platform.

But Amouranth is still banned from Instagram.

On an episode of Ludwig’s The Yard, Amouranth decided to explain the reason behind the account suspension. Apparently, the adult star was mass reported. This means that many people reported her account simultaneously to purposefully get her account suspended, and it worked.

While her TikTok and Twitch suspensions were resolved, the Instagram ban continued. Amouranth decided to switch to her personal Instagram account but it was banned in early December due to the same reason.

“I’m in talks with people trying to get unbanned and apparently there’s nothing that I did wrong. But because I get so many mass reports, no one wants to take on the role of managing my account,” Amouranth revealed.

Apparently, all verified Instagram accounts have an account manager. Without having an account manager, Amouranth said that the company doesn’t really seem to “give a f–k” what happens to your account. For this reason, her account has remained suspended since October.

“It’s really rough,” Amouranth said.
