Greatest Hits
Speak to the Ruin Maniac on the main road near the Pokémon Center. He points out that your encounters with Pokémon are your shared history, and that the Pokémon History app records such information. With this app, users can view icons of their 12 most recently obtained Pokémon species. Tapping on one of these icons causes the Pokémon's cry to play.
Pokémon Day Care
The Pokémon Day Care is a facility that raises Pokémon for busy Trainers. For a small fee, up to two Pokémon can be left here to be raised by the Day Care staff. During their stay, Pokémon will gradually level up and learn new moves. When two compatible Pokémon are left at the same time, their Trainer may return to find an Egg! The two Pokémon must be of opposite genders, and the resulting Egg will hatch into the unevolved form of the female parent. The Day-Care Man keeps watch over the Pokémon in their care, and hints at the odds of finding one. Certain species are unable to produce Eggs that contain their baby Pokémon forms without a parent holding the correct Incense.

The Day-Care Man normally faces south, keeping watch over the Pokémon in their care. Whenever an Egg is found, he will instead turn to face the road, eager to talk to you. Speak to him to receive the Egg, and carry it with you on your journey. The more you travel with an Egg, the sooner the Pokémon inside will hatch.
Checking In
Speak to the man inside the Day Care building, and he asks if you are also a fan of the Day Care Couple. He tells you of a new Pokétch app that was just developed in collaboration with the Day Care, then shares the app with you. The Day-Care Checker app allows the user to view any Pokémon that may currently be left in the couple's care, and if an Egg has been produced.
Pokémon News Press
The building next to the Pokémon Center is the Pokémon News Press office. Inside, a pair of journalists writes and prints the Sinnoh region's top newspaper. Speak to the man at the desk, and he asks if you saw the Help Wanted notice outside. They are looking for a "Pro Pokémon Catcher", and seeing your Pokédex, he realizes that you must be just the kind of expert they need. In order to run the newspaper's main article, he needs to see a certain Pokémon species before their deadline. The necessary species always happens be one already registered in your Pokédex, making it a simple request to complete. Do so by the end of the day, and he rewards you with a bundle of three Poké Balls; the exact variety is determined randomly.

Speak to the woman in the southeastern-most house to learn that Poké Balls can be customized by affixing Seals to them. She then gives you a Seal Case so that you may start collecting your own. Seals are small stickers that can be applied to Ball Capsules. This can be done by accessing <Player>'s PC in any Pokémon Center, and selecting Ball Capsules. The user must then choose a Capsule before applying Seals as they wish. When finished, a Capsule can then be applied to a Poké Ball. This allows for more special effects when a Pokémon is sent out than just the usual flash of light.
After meeting her son in the Solaceon Ruins, speak to him here to find that he is using Seals to learn the alphabet. If shown one of Unown's forms, he gives you a pack of 10 Alphabet Seals. The specific type of Seal received corresponds to the Unown form shown to him.
The Solaceon Ruins are a series of chambers housed in the mountains on the east side of town. The largest chambers are home to the Unown, a mysterious Pokémon species with many different forms that resemble letters of the alphabet. Researchers are unsure whether written language or the Unown were the first to appear.

An Inconvenient Group
A group of Psyduck can be seen just west of Café Cabin, in a narrow pass between the trees. Unfortunately, the Psyduck do not seem at all inclined to move, so the northern part of the route is inaccessible at the moment. Instead, turn east to reach Route 215 and continue toward Veilstone City.
Route 215
Route 215
Route 215 runs between Route 210 to the west and Veilstone City to the east. The area is always inundated by heavy rainfall, so only the hardiest Trainers tend to gather here.
