I could only get USB storage to recognize FAT32 with 32GB USB. It does not see content for exFAT or NTFS so I cannot use larger USB devices.
Is this the expected behavior?

And it supports NTFS, fat32 and other formats.
What is the capacity of the USB drive? What is the model number of it?
With it plugged into the computer directly, can it be recognized completely?
Besides, it is suggested to format it to NTFS to give it a go and check whether it works; or change another USB drive to do a comparison analysis.
Good day.

Even though the clients need, the technican wouldn't care about this issue.

Archer C7 V5 supports fat32 and ntfs now, for other USB formats, we understand that they are important also, and we do value it, we will remind our R&D colleagues and they will work on it.
You can keep an eye on it for more updates.

Good question, but we are not able to tell why it does not support other formats, what we can do now is to remind our R&D team to add the rest.
Wish your kindly understanding.
