It does not seem to support ExFat. I have confirmed this with a brand new WD Elements external drive: the TP-LINK discovers the drive if formatted NTFS and does not discover it if formatted exFAT. Ross H · August 8, 2015 2 people found this helpful. Do you? Yes | Report As far as I've been able to figure out it doesn't support anything except FAT, FAT32 or NTFS. Although if you're a mac user it will write to the drive if it's formatted in NTFS since it's the router writing to the drive and not the mac directly.
