Ark Ragnarok Silk Locations

We've prepared a quick guide for all the Ark players out there who want to find and farm Silk in the Ark Ragnarok expansion.

Silk is a valuable resource for crafting desert clothes and tents in Ark Ragnarok. This is an uncommon resource that can be gathered either by picking flowers or killing Lymantria.

Use a Sabertooth or Metal Hatchet to kill and harvest the creature to get silk. If you want to pick flowers, go to the Highlands or any grass plain with purple and white flowers and use your hands or Sickle to get silk. Remember, if you pluck the flowers from your hands, you won’t get much yield.

Like Crystal Isles, Silk is not found with ease in Ark Ragnarok. This guide lists down the best locations for farming the flowers for silk and some common spawning locations of Lymantria in the game.

Ark Ragnarok Silk Location #1

The first location is on the southern edge of Reta Forest, at 53.8 Latitude and 37.6 Longitude. Pink flowers cover a large portion of the grass field.

Ark Ragnarok Silk Location #2

The next location is in the far northeast corner of the map, at 21.1 Latitude and 83.1 Longitude. This grassland area has many Gigas spawning, so watch out for them.

Ark Ragnarok Silk Location #3

The next location is at 25.1 Latitude and 78.1 Longitude on the Green Island near the red obelisk. This area also has a lot of Gigas spawning all the time. You will find the flowers spread throughout this area.

Lymantria Spawn Location in Ark Ragnarok

Killing and harvesting Lymantria is another way of getting silk. These creatures can mostly be found in the desert areas at the bottom south corner of the map. The map image below shows all the locations this creature can spawn in.

Silk Spawn Command

You will need to enter the spawn command to spawn silk automatically into your inventory without finding it. For this, take the following steps:

1. Open the cheat console on your system. To do this, press either of the following keys:

• Press TAB on your keyboard.
• Press and hold L1, R1, Square, and Triangle on PlayStation.
• Press and hold LB, RB, X, and Y on Xbox.

2. After the console opens, enter “cheat gfi Silk 1 1 0” and hit enter.
