Previous Next Minors Art History College of Social Sciences and Humanities Description of the Minor

This subspecialization is open to students from all USFQ Academic Colleges who are interested in gaining a broad understanding of art history. Students interested in this specialization have a varied offer of courses that allow them to learn about the visual arts in different regions and historical moments. Through this subspecialization, students develop research skills; they learn about the historical and cultural contexts in which the different artistic manifestations took place; gain skills for critical appreciation of art; they acquire theoretical tools for the analysis of artistic objects.
