Centipede will green-up in spring around Apr.Don't use anymore Image for right now. it will delay your green-up for weeks and it will look realy bad. I know, I did it. #3 · Feb 5, 2012 Tell me exactly the product you used. I'm not familiar with "Image Atrazine" Image of a dormant lawn will kill it in a heartbeat. However, if it is a weak atrazine product, you'll be OK BUT I want to see the label and the AI. #4 · Feb 5, 2012 The product used was "Image herbicide for St. Augustine grass and centipede grass with Atrazine" Active ingredients: Atrazine 4%, Related Compounds .08%, Other Ingredients 95.92%. I used it to kill Chamber Bitter. I followed package instructions. It is a hose-end spray type bottle. #5 · Feb 6, 2012

If this is what you used, then you should be fine. This is just pretty much Atrazine and does not have the Imazaquin. http://www.amdro.com/Image/St-Augustine/index.html #6 · Feb 7, 2012 if the centipede is dormant you should be fine. i believe atrazine alone can be used at a low rate to control poa anua, but i'm not real sure. Some people use revolver but its expensive. might ask around and see what the southern guys are using. Insert Quotes Post Reply
