The Auto Club Speedway will receive thousands of spectators for the NASCAR Wise Power 400 Cup Series.

The Auto Club Speedway, previously known as the California Speedway, locates in Fontana, California.

It was built in 1995 and inaugurated in 1997. The construction had a cost of $128 million.

How wide is Auto Club Speedway?

Located 50 miles east of Los Angeles, the Auto Club Speedway is a two-mile, low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway. It requires 200 laps to complete.

The Auto Club Speedway has 230,000 concrete blocks, a 17-mile fence, 280,000 lbs of aluminum for seating, and 300,000 tons of asphalt paving.

Former California Speedway has 600 monitors, 32,000 paved spaces for parking, four aid buildings, and 11 souvenir buildings for people who like gifts and merchandise.

In other features, the Auto Club Speedway has 20 guest trams for spectator convenience, VIP deluxe RV concierge services, corporate hospitality entertainment areas, temporary infield shower facilities, a gym, and a drivers' family lounge.

The speedway has a total of 568 acres. The speedway interior has 130.7 acres, and the landscaping has 136 acres.

The Auto Club Speedway has a total capacity of 122,000 people.

Tickets for the 2022 Wise Power 400 are on sale with prices starting at $40. You can visit the NASCAR website to purchase your tickets.

Due to COVID restrictions, NASCAR did not compete at Auto Club in 2021. Alex Bowman claimed his second Cup Series victory in the 2020 Wise Power 400.

The 2022 Wise Power 400 start time is 3:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 27th. FOX will broadcast the Wise Power 400 with radio coverage from MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
