F1_2004 14 years ago#1How do you make dual wield work properly? I don't know if my mouse buttons are busted, but I can't spam dual wield attacks any faster than, say, single-wielding a sword + shield. Even if I double-swing, the delay between swings seems like longer than if I swung a sword twice.So is the only advantage to dual wielding the double-power attack which does 3 power attack swings (for what I assume is 3x or 4x the damage of a single-handed power attack)?

OldDirtyCR 14 years ago#4Power attacks and click both m1 and m2 at the same time (but not hold). It'll do an attack with both swords at once.

Rocketdot 14 years ago#6If you have the perk to increase dual wield speed, it also increases the swinging of one handed weapon swings along with the dual normal and power attack.If you want to murder everything you come across in less than a second, including dragons, then I suggest this.Get the perks in dual wield speed increase. Find 2 nice unenchanted daggers.Find the elemental fury shout (only works with unenchanted weapons) which increases attack speed.Don't use power attacks, just regular swings, one weapon at a time. You will cut enemies up so fast it is ridiculous.
Zantrax 14 years ago#7The double power attack is ridiculous and what you should be using whenever you have stamina. It does a ton of damage and usually staggers the enemy. Makes most battles too easy even on master.
Morgasaurus 14 years ago#8Get 5/5 one-hand damage, all the dual wield perks on the right side of the tree, 3/3 in one weapon perk, and pick up Savage Strike.Dual Savagery and Savage Strike apparently stack. The dual wield triple power attack counts as a standing power attack also. If you have all of the above as well as 2x Daedric Weapon (Legendary) you will destroy worlds.Eventually put absorb stamina on one of the weapons. The funny thing about the DW power attack is that you can do it with 1 stamina even though it uses 3x the stamina as a normal power attack.As previously stated, Elemental Fury with dual Wield is the most broken thing in Skyrim. It's the best way to kill a dragon the first time it lands before its breath kills you thanks to the resist bug.Against mages the best thing is still Slow Time since you can get to them, behind them, and kill them in one power attack all while they miss with their magic."For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? ..."- Matthew 16:26
Paradox52525 14 years ago#9Click (but do not hold) both mouse buttons simultaneously to do a regular attack with both weapons at once. This takes about the same amount of time as a regular one-handed swing, but hits with both weapons for twice the damage.Exvius: 885,837,426 (A2, 2B, Tidus, Trance Terra, Zarg, Marie, Noctis, OK, Ayaka) Also playing: Nier Automata
