South/southeast of Kakariko Village
This is where you encounter Hestu for the first time, and get the quest The Priceless Maracas
After trading in two Korok Seeds, Hestu tells you he is moving to Korok Forest.

Near the Riverside Stable, west of the Kakariko Village.
Even though Hestu originally told you he was going to the Korok Forest, he doesn't make it there, and instead stops in this spot.
