Bruce Arians is an old sea dog when it comes to the NFL, having been around multiple franchises and teams that have gone through highs and lows, while being acknowledged as one of the most charismatic coaches around the league.

Well now it was turn for Arians to name the most interesting player he had ever coach. When aked by The Spun in a recent interview, the now retired coach had a definitive answer an it might be who you're thinking.

Who's the most interesting player that Bruce Arians coached?

This shouldn't come as a suprise, but Bruce Arians said that even though he's worked with several very charismatic personalities throuought his career, the most interesting player that he's ever coached is tight end Rob Gronkowski, whom he had as a player during his tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"It would definitely be Gronk," Arians said, before adding.

"We've had quite a few personalities in the last few years. But I will say, the beauty of our ballclub is everyone checks their ego at the door."

Bruce Arians says he'd like to coach this NFL superstar

During a recent interview with "Pardon My Take" from Barstool Sports, the Super Bowl winning head coach, Bruce Arians said that if he had the opportunity, he would like to coach Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback and league sensation, Patrick Mahomes.

In fact he thought that was going to be the case when he was coaching the Arizona Cardinals in 2017, the year Mahomes came out of college.

"I thought for sure when I was in Arizona that we were getting Patrick Mahomes," Arians mentioned.

He also praised Mahomes mental thoughness and skills, placing him in a level comparable to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady's.

"As that draft was falling, I was like 'he's ours."
