Cedar Point's HalloWeekends Returns Friday With Daytime Delights ...

Cedar Point is ready to deliver delights and frights starting Friday, Sept. 17 with the return of its popular HalloWeekends.
HalloWeekends routinely draw some of the park’s largest crowds. The events will feature more than 50 attractions and activities included with park admission. The events feature family-friendly Tricks and Treats Fall Fest during the day and scarier Haunt attractions in the evenings.
The family-friendly Tricks and Treats Fall Fest includes activities like a costume contest, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, hay bale and corn stalk mazes, a challenge course, themed midway games, coloring and crafts, mask making and live entertainment. (Halloween costumes, masks and face paint are not permitted for guests age 13 and older.)
When the sun goes down, ominous lights and fog fill select midways as Haunt rises. Nighttime activities include six outdoor fright zones and five haunted houses - all included with park admission. New this year is Banished, a haunted zone that will take over the Frontier Trail. The Blood on the Bayou outdoor fright area will be relocated to Adventure Island.
Shows include the Midnight Syndicate: Conspiracy of Shadows; a rendition of the Edgar Allan Poe classic “The Tell-Tale Heart;” The Fangtastics; Monster Mash-up with The Shrieks Band; and Ghouling Pianos.
Foodies can enjoy the Tricks and Treats Food Tasting Tour and the Night of the Living Fed all-you-can-eat meal. These attractions are not included with park admission; tickets can be purchased online in advance.
September hours will be traditional, but the park will have extended hours in October to accommodate large crowds looking to attend HalloWeekends.
Starting Sunday, Oct. 3, and running through Oct. 31, the park will be open: 6 p.m. to midnight Thursdays, 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays. Purchase advance tickets here.
HalloWeekends were canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
