spomieckoJanuary 17, 201726 found this helpfulBest AnswerLook in the closet or wherever you keep your swifter. The battery compartment may have fallen off. On the swifter I had, you couldn't tell anything was missing.
nashmoreJune 1, 20171 found this helpfulBest AnswerThe batteries are located on the front down toward the mop. There is a button, press the button and it will open. Requires 4 double A batteries. AndyLizDecember 26, 200911 found this helpfulBest AnswerStop! Your battery compartment has probably fallen off! Check the bottom of your closet first, before trying to pry out a battery that is not there. Another web site gave me the heads up on this, and sure enough after trying to pry the battery compartment off, I realized it was sitting in the bottom of the closet!
