Planned Power Outage March 7, 2026 beginning at 10:00 pm. Entergy and City of Jasper Light Power Department have scheduled a Planned Power Outage for March 7, 2026. This outage will affect all City of Jasper Customers on City power and will start at 10 pm. Entergy will be replacing some Metering System components at the Jason Substation and performing other maintenance. This outage is estimated to last approximately 5 hours. The Jasper Police Department will have added patrol units out during this outage. Public Works will have crews working at traffic signal intersections, checking water and sewer facilities to ensure there are no service interruptions. The work is being performed on the 138,000-volt transmission line where it enters the substation, so, for the safety of workers, they must de-energize the line. City Crews and Entergy personnel will work safely and as quickly as possible to fix these items and restore power. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding while these much-needed repairs are underway. If you have questions or concerns, you may contact customer service at City Hall 409-384-4651 JasperCo_DemandResponseTransit_Flyer_Rev1-23-26 Civil Rights Notice Wed, 01 Oct 2025 Civil Rights NoticeRead more...
