Somewhat shy and awkward, but extremely knowledgeable about all things ores and minerals, Clint is Pelican Town's blacksmith. In addition to breaking geodes and upgrading tools for the player, Clint is a villager who can befriended in Stardew Valley. This guide will help you get closer to Clint and become his friend as well as his client!

Clint Basics

Clint lives and works at the Blacksmith's shop on the east side of Pelican Town, near Joja Mart and the Museum. He has a crush on Emily, but is too shy to tell her. His birthday is on Winter 26.

Clint Schedule

Clint spends most of his days in his Blacksmith's shop, which is open from 9AM to 5PM. After work, he hangs out at the Stardrop Saloon from 8:20 PM to 12AM.

Once the Community Center has been restored, he will work in the Boiler Room there on Fridays from 9AM to 5PM.

Clint attends all festivals. He has an appointment at Harvey's Clinic on Winter 16. He can visit Ginger Island Resort once it is open, but will only go on Fridays.

Clint Quests

Clint has multiple types of Help Wanted quests he can post on the board outside Pierre's General Store. He can ask for an item, ask for a number of Coal, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, or Gold Ore, or ask the player to slay Monsters in the Mines.

In addition, Clint is involved in the following Quests:

• Forging Ahead - Once you've mined a Copper Ore, Clint will show up the next day, give you a Furnace blueprint, and ask you to craft a Furnace.
• Smelting - After completing Forging Ahead, Clint will ask you to smelt one Copper Bar.
• Clint's Attempt - Winter 6. Bring an Amethyst to Emily. Rewards one Friendship Heart with Emily.
• A Favor For Clint - Winter 17. Bring Clint an Iron Bar. Rewards 500g and one Friendship Heart with Clint.
• Cave Patrol - Special Orders Board, random, repeating. Slay 50 Bats/Dust Sprites/Grubs/Skeletons. Rewards 6000G and Geode Crusher recipe (first time). Does NOT reward friendship with Clint.

Clint Gift Guide

Fitting his job as a blacksmith, Clint loves gems, bars, and ores of all kinds, but strongly dislikes Flowers.

Clint Movie Theater

Clint does not Love any movies. He Hates Zuzu City Express and Likes all others.

His Loved Concessions are Fries and Stardrop Sorbet.

Clint Heart Events

Clint has only a few Heart Events, but the ones he does have are interesting and reveal more about his personality and love life.

Clint - 3 Hearts Part 1

Enter the Stardrop Saloon between 7PM and 11PM on any Monday. Clint asks for dating advice. Say "Treat women the same as men" to earn 50 Friendship Points with Clint.

Clint - 3 Hearts Part 2

Clint mails you the Algae Soup recipe.

Clint - 6 HeartsIt is possible to miss this event by dating or marrying Emily before seeing it, as it will not trigger if you are romantically involved with her.

Enter Pelican Town via Cindersap Forest between 9AM and 6:30PM. With some encouragement from you, Clint manages to ask Emily on a date.

Clint - 7 Hearts

Clint mails you the Bean Hotpot recipe.
