Nosferatuiaon 4/21/10 10:44 am, edited 4/21/10 10:45 am RNY on 03/31/10 I am 3 weeks post-op and I have noticed that since yesterday I have been feeling really hungry, like a few of you who have posted in the last day or so. I am also craving mustard really badly, I even ate a little on soft scrambled eggs and a little by itself. Did anyone else have mustard or any other weird cravings so soon? ReplyQuote poet_kellyon 4/21/10 11:10 am - OH RNY on 11/04/08 I don't know that I would call mustard a weird craving.  I ate it pretty early out.  I took a slice of cheese, put a little spicy mustard on it, and rolled it up and ate it. Maybe with all the sweet stuff ie: protein, juice, sugar free popsicles, our bodies crave some sodium. Mustard has that also. Funny things happen, my NUT just laughed and said it was clear liquids lol Audra

I would have probably eaten them if I didnt think puree pickles would be yucky ha ha! Top ReplyQuote Chopper1on 4/21/10 6:53 pm Hi, Yep, I am addicted to spicy brown mustard and reduced sugar ketchup.  I love it on egg beaters. I also love tomato sauce now. Weird isn't it? Geoff

I went to the doctor and she told me that you crave pickles when your iron is low. I guess that is why many pregnant ladies crave pickles. Could be the same with mustard. Top ReplyQuote Nosferatuiaon 4/22/10 7:12 am RNY on 03/31/10 I will keep the iron thing in mind! I had an appt with my Dr today and he said I was his first patient that said they were craving mustard and or vinegary food ha ha! When I go with my DH to Sam's club he always gets the hot dog special and I grab one of those little 1 oz cups filled with relish and smother it with mustard and eat it like that...Yummmo! and it fills me up!
