How to respec Skills, Morphs and Attributes

One of the great things about ESO is that most things are not permanent. This means, for a little bit of gold, you can respec your skills and re-morph your attributes at any time. This comes in handy if you have a different parse set up than you do when you run dungeons or if you simply chose the wrong morph of a skill and need to change it.

How to Respec Skills and Morphs

To respect your skills or morphs, you need to visit the Shrine to S’rendarr.

Respec Attributes

To respect your attributes, you will need to visit the Shrine to Alkosh.

You can choose which skills you want to change or reset all. Up to you! Both Rededication Shrines can be found together in several locations throughout Tamriel.

Respec Shrine Locations

Base Game:
  • Mournhold in Deshaan
  • Elden Root in Grahtwood
  • Wayrest in Stormhaven
DLC:
  • Vivec City in Vvardenfell
  • Alinor in Summerset
  • Rimmen in Elsweyr

Look for the symbol on your map that looks like this:

Free Respec

Skill and Attribute Respecification Scrolls

In addition to going to the shrine, you can also use Respecification Scrolls.

The Skill Respecification Scroll will allow you to either reset a single skill or choose a different morph without spending any gold.

The Attribute Respecification Scroll will reset all your attribute points without spending any gold.

You get these as a reward through leveling at level 43 and sometimes as a Daily Login reward.
