Where Can You Reset / Respec Skills 16 Comments

You can reset your Skills at any time by going to the Skills Rededication Shrine in any Alliance capital city. This means Elden Root for Aldmeri Dominion, Mournhold for Ebonheart Pact and Wayrest for Daggerfall Covenant. You can also reset your Attribute Points near-by.

It will cost you 50 gold per Skill Point that you have assigned.

You also have the option to reset your Skill Morphs, which simply un-sets any Morphs that you have chosen.

    This FAQ is as good as useless for starter. You should add the provinces as without it is impossible to find for people who need the guide. If you know your way around you also know where to find the shrines…

    I agree with Steve, city names are simply not good enough for a beginning player. Also, when was the last time this page was updated? Without a date stamp on your page, it’s hard to know if it’s up-to-date or not. As a more casual player I’ve seen the respec cost change over time with different updates and have to frequently look things up; if your source is the only one I’m going off of because it looks official and oh-so-pretty, I’m screwed if it’s not updated and I have no way to tell.

    Maybe add an option that turns on a respect quest off the same menu that allows us to choose everything even logout–I play on xbox. It cold put a waypoint on our map/compass to lead us to the respect shrine. And since we have the option to abandon any quest we just abandon it if we feel it is too far away. This seems to me an easy option.

    As a beginning player, in reply to Steve and Ashleigh particularly.. Do you really expect these “beginning players” you’re so worried about to be too stupid to Google the city name to find out where it is? This page gave me exactly the info I wanted and needed.

    I spent a half hour doing a respec and the game is telling me I cant because im outside a shrine!?!? im standing right next to it.. whats going on?

    ok so i cant figure out how to respec as a new/returning player i can only find shrines of mara is there a reason?

    This was very helpful. I already knew where Stormhaven was and then it was just a question of finding Wayrest City then the shrines which are clearly marked on my/your map.

    But the exp needed to upgrade your skills and morph them always stays same. It does not scale with character. Because of that, the more exp you get, the higher your lvl is up to CP160, the easier is to move your skills around, reset, respec and remorph.

    All my map says is Shrine of Mara under the Redication Shrine icon on Wayrest. I do not find any other shrines. All Mara offers is to let me be bound to my beloved. Where are the shrines to Stendarr and Ashtoka?
