Many players have been in love with Galarian Slowpoke since it was first introduced and now it can finally be evolved in The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokémon Sword & Shield!

It is not quite as straightforward as simply leveling up Galarian Slowpoke though, so we’ve created a guide to help you!

1. Collect 8 Galarica Twigs

Galarica Twigs are a new item introduced in the Isle of Armor. They can be found on sparkling spots on the ground as you travel throughout the island. Try looking for sparkling spots near trees. Unfortunately, Galarica Twigs are not common, so you may have to search for awhile to collect eight.

2. Create a Galarica Cuff

The Galarica Cuff is the item needed to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro. You cannot create it yourself—you’ll need to head south from the station you started your adventure from on the Isle of Armor. Look for the island directly ahead of where the beach ends and use your bike to cross. On the island is the woman who will create the Galarica Cuff for you! If she offers to make something else, try talking to her again.

3. Use the Galarica Cuff

  • Galarian Slowpoke
  • Galarian Slowbro

You’ve collected twigs, created a cuff and now you’re ready for a Galarian Slowbro, so what comes next? Luckily, all you have to do is open your inventory and use the Galarica Cuff on your Galarian Slowpoke. Don’t have it hold it. Congratulations, the evolution sequence should now begin!
