RTENOTITLE

RTENOTITLE
Evolved from: - Evolves into: Slowbro (at level 37)
Locations: Catch Slowpoke on Seafoam Island in all three versions or fish for one in the Safari Zone in Blue/Red. Yellow players can also find it on Route 12.
This Pokémon naturally learns the following techniques:
LV 01 - ConfusionLV 18 - DisableLV 22 - Head Butt LV 27 - GrowlLV 33 - Water Gun LV 40 - AmnesiaLV 48 - Psychic
Tips: Don't underestimate this Casamassina-like creature. Although it is definitely very slow, it's got super-high HP and learns a number of excellent attacks. So how do you overcome Slowpoke's low speed and come out victorious against most enemies? It's all about status-altering attacks. Slowpoke comes equipped with Confusion and learns a number of great techniques from TMs as well. Start off by hitting your opponent with techniques like Confusion or Thunder Wave, then follow up with your best Water or Psychic techniques. Water Gun is a good Water technique to learn (you get it at level 33), but you should replace it with Surf as soon as you can. Psychic is a must-have technique for Slowpoke and Slowbro, so try not to evolve it until you've hit level 48 (unless you want to wait another seven levels before you get it). If you really want to surprise your opponents, though, teach your Slowpoke Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Earthquake or Dig. Most trainers won't expect that your Slowpoke knows those techniques and choose Pokemon that are strong against Psychic and Water attacks only.

Being a dual Water/Psychic type, Slowpoke's got a problem with Bug, Electric and Grass opponents. Apart from those three, you can use it against a variety of opponents, including Fighting, Psychic, Water and Ice Pokemon -- but it's most effective against Fire, Ground and Rock types. The best way to defeat Slowpoke is to bring in an Electric type. While Slowpoke may be able to take out an Electric type with Dig, there aren't really any Electric Pokemon that are slower than Slowpoke... So zap the Water creature right away. Note that you may have to hit it twice with all your got because of its high HP.

This Pokémon can learn the following HMs and TMs:
