When asked the question: "What is the weakest Pokemon ever?", Kanto residents would reply: "Magikarp". Johto residents would also reply: "Magikarp". The residents of Hoenn however, are faced with a split decision: Magikarp or Feebas. Yes, Magikarp has got some competition. They are practically the same. They both learn exactly the same attacks naturally, at exactly the same levels and they both look feeble (probably where the name Feebas comes from).

There is one significent difference between the two Pokemon however. Magikarp is a pain in the backside and a pest to get rid of. Feebas is the rarest Pokemon to ever exist in the game. It can take absolutely forever and a day to find the bugger. It took me nearly 3 and a hours to find it.

But you may ask yourself, why waste so much time tracking down the equivalent of a Magikarp? The answer is that just like Magikarp, Feebas evolves into one of the best Pokemon in the game- Milotic. Milotic learns some great attacks (including Recover) and has great overall stats. It also has another weird and complicated evolution though. It evolves with beauty, which actually makes sense seeing how ugly Feebas is.

To make Feebas evolve you need to feed it Blue, Indigo, White, Gray and Gold Pokeblocks. Blue Pokeblocks increase just Beauty, Indigo increase Beauty and one other condition, and the other three Pokeblocks increase 2-4 conditions. If you can feed it a Gold Pokeblock and it increases your Beauty condition then you're very lucky. Gold Pokeblocks are counted as a class A Pokeblock and greatly improve the chosen condition greatly. The berries I reccommend you use are: Chesto Berry, Oran Berry, Bluk Berry, Kelpsy Berry, Hondew Berry, Cornn Berry, Pamtre Berry and Leichi Berry (which is only located on Mirage Island). The place where thr berries are blended can affect what colour Pokeblock is created so try to experiment a bit. If Feebas's Beauty status reaches it's maximum, then it will evolve into Milotic. Finding Feebas

Feebas is only located on Route 119. It only appears in a few spaces in the water, and you need to fish twice in every spot, seeing as these spots don't only have Feebas in them, but other Pokemon as well. It will take time, unless you're a lucky git and the first spot you fish in contains Feebas. Search every bit of Route 119 and eventually you will find Feebas. When you have found one, fish again in the same spot as there will be more in that very spot. Catch a Male and a Female, and then you don't have to worry about Feebas again because you could breed them. I recommend that you use an Old Rod when fishing. That way it reduces the number of other Pokemon that could appear whilst fishing for Feebas.

When you've been fishing for God-knows-how-long and still haven't found one, then the only thing to do is to keep trying. Remember, Feebas IS there. It's just a matter of patience, determination and resisting the urge to throw your Game Boy out the window. Thanks to gravy for telling me about this in the forums.

And thanks to Typhlosion for writing the page!
